Yeovil On Track

Did you know railway tracks once passed through Yeovil Country Park? or that the Town Station was situated where Yeo Leisure Park is now? Join us for a family friendly event marking 60 years since the closure of the Dorset and Somerset Joint Railway.  

Find out more about the wonderful history and heritage of railways in Yeovil, meet enthusiasts with model tracks, stories and handling items.  Your usual walk at Yeovil Country Park will be transformed!

There will be a guest speaker at 7pm and old cine films of yeovil lines in action.  Tea and coffee will be available. Best of all the event is free. (This fully accessible event will be in the cafe although the cafe is closed, tea and coffee will be available.  Parking free after 6pm)
